The new temple building will be modern and functional and will be accented with elements of Vedic architecture. The following are the key components of the planned temple:

Construction Begins in June 2022
Previous Accomplishments
Site Search – An extensive endeavor spanning multiple years was undertaken to locate the ideal site for the proposed temple.
Land Purchase – 53 Acres Purchased in Hilliard (2016) 2500 SF Ranch purchased in front of the road (2016) Fundraising – Started (2017), initially $6 million; revised to $10 million in 2021
Survey & Engineering – Schematic Design completed (2019) Architecture – Construction Drawing (2021) Township Application and Final approval – After a thorough review and hearings process with Columbus City Court, the temple received unanimous approval with Permission to build Indian Temple Architectural Style Dome in Sep 2021
PHASE I – $4.9 MILLION
COMPLETED
Accomplishments include: land purchase, architecture, engineering, underground infrastructure, legal and design.
PHASE II – $5.1 MILLION
IN-PROGRESS
We require another $5.1 million to complete our Phase II of the project which will allow us to move into the new facility and begin our services. We plan to raise minimum $3.5 million over the next 11 months and the remaining will be covered by loan from the bank.
The construction of ISKCON Greater Columbus is being managed by group of volunteers committed to the teachings of the Bhagvad Gita. In addition to having professional and business experience, they have given many years of service to ISKCON. Members of the management team have given significant financial contributions and several have even mortgaged their own homes.
